DAY 6: THE NIGHT CIRCUS

“The finest of pleasures are always the unexpected ones.”
Along with Thomas Wharton’s Salamander, The Night Circus is another stellar example of magical realism. I can’t seem to write a smart blurb of the plot without giving something essential away, so I will just suggest that anyone who hasn’t yet read this one should step right up and be amazed. Its a truly great feat of imagination, and just might be my very favourite novel of all time… at the moment.
