There’s been a lot going on here this summer! Between dips in the lake and walks in the forest with my dog, most of my time has been spent in the studio making new work in preparation for some upcoming events. First up, I’m participating in an art Symposium in Prévost, which starts next Wednesday July 27th and runs until Sunday July 31st. If you’re in the area, I hope you’ll drop by for a visit, and maybe pick up a beautiful new piece of art to brighten your home. At last count, there were over 60 artists signed up for the event, from every style and medium imaginable. So there will be something for everyone! I have a couple of other shows coming up in the fall as well as some work that will be available soon on ART BOMB. If you’re an art lover who’s never heard of ART BOMB, I suggest you subscribe. It’s a daily online art auction that features some great work from Canadian artists. Once you start looking, it’s kind of addictive.
I’ve been working on a new series inspired by the sensuality of water. Another day or two of tweaking and these two will be done. As soon as they are, I’ll be posting them here.
I’ve also been working on a rebranding my image. I used to work in advertising and the part I loved best was branding – it’s a lot of fun to dig deep into your business’ core values and be deliberate about the image you want to project. So without further ado, I’m very happy to present my new logo. Stay tuned for a website and blog styling update.
